Blood moon: eclipse – the earth’s shadow blocks the sun’s rays from hitting the moon directly. Some of the light filters through the earth’s atmosphere (around the perimeter of the earth) tinting that light red

Super moon: the moon is closer to the earth than usual thus looks a little bit bigger. Don’t worry, it isn’t close enough to hit us … yet!
