Husky and Malamute Heaven!
This morning, mom and dad took me for a drive. But wait, we’re driving past dog beach, and we did not turn toward Huntington Central Park Dog Park! I wonder where we’re going?
Then we past a dog park in Costa Mesa! “Wait” I said, “it’s right here! Stop the car!” But dad continued driving and went around the other side of the dog park where there was a parking lot. I guess that’s better than parking in the middle of the street. Anyway. LOTS OF HUSKIES and MALAMUTES (like Huskies but bigger)! This is going to be fun. So I played with a brown short-haired dog… I know I should be playing with the Huskies, but this one is closer to my age and besides he knocked me over a couple times the first few minutes at the park. So I know he knows how to have fun and I still need to pay him back anyway…
Mom and dad noticed there was some blood on my ear after playing at dog park. Somebody bit my ear! Probably that dog that kept stealing the beat-up tennis ball from me, you know the same ball that I, fairly and squarely, stole from her!
Then we walked down the road a ways and watched a bunch of people running the Orange County Marathon and Half-Marathon. It was fun, but I really want to be out there running not watching. But, I’m a little tired, so, okay let’s just hang out and watch…
Then we went back to the dog park to play some more before going home and taking a long nap! Zzzzzzzzzz….
